Reminding You of Your Power
Shanel Mahr
As a doula, I believe birth is a sacred threshold—a profound transition where strength, vulnerability, and transformation intertwine. It is not my role to direct your path, but to walk beside you—holding grounded space, offering evidence-based guidance, and protecting your peace when things feel overwhelming. I honor each birthing person’s right to be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Whether you are navigating birth, postpartum, loss, or recovery, I meet you where you are—with tenderness, honesty, and unwavering presence. My work is rooted in the belief that when people feel safe, informed, and deeply supported, they birth not just babies—but new versions of themselves. I do not take this responsibility lightly. I am here to remind you of your power, protect your choices, and carry the quiet confidence that you already hold everything you need within you.
